We have this large Rittal control cabinet, with 8x Eurotherm two phase control thyristor units in it, Moeller 1600amp main switch and Chessell Chart Recorder assembled by Schmitz + Apelt LOI, now known as Tenova LOI Thermprocess. Also 48x large Kanthal heating elements. This was part of a large enamelling oven that has been dismantled.
The unit was made in 2001 by Schmitz + Apelt LOI in Germany, Now known as Tenova LOI Thermprocess. (You can view there site here http://www.loi.de/ )
The Enamelling Furnace was Type: ECOFIRE EHD 19.6/78-1.2/180-KON, Temperature range 700-860 degrees celsius, Electric 400v 50Hz 1140kva
The large electrical cabinet has been split in two for transport (It was designed to do this)
The cabinet has 8x sections(doors) Going from left to right,
First section has the Eurotherm Chessell chart reader, Model 4181M, that monitors the system.
Next section has main controls of the fans, motor speed controller for the chain (3D chain) conveyor, PDL Xtravert VSD(controlling 2x 1.5kw motors 400v), the on/off control of heating group 1(this group of elements were direct on/off no thyristor unit) with its amp meters. Group 1 is rated 72kw 400v
Next two sections have the on/off controls of heating groups 2-5, each with their own amp meters for each phase. Each of these groups have its own Eurotherm TC2000 two phase control thyristor unit, designed to control two phases of a three phase load, Each of these groups are rated 108kw 400v
Next section is the main input of the power to the Rittal cabinet. The power is connected to a Moeller main switch, model NZM14-1600H. After the main switch it connects to the copper rails that run the length of the cabinet. This is metered by a Siemens kwh meter. This section also has 3x 500volt meters and 3x 1500amp meters.
Next two sections have the on/off controls of heating groups 6-9, each with there own amp meters for each phase. Each of these groups has its own Eurotherm TC2000 two phase control thyristor unit, designed to control two phases of a three phase load, Each of these groups are rated 108kw 400v
The last section is pretty empty, just a few circuit breakers etc.
There is a total of 48x Kanthal-Tubothal-heating elements nicely stored in three wooden crates. These elements can be used either with or without radiant/protective tubes.
